Introduction
To evaluate the factors to consider in patients with urinary stone and Extended-Spectrum β-Lactamase (ESBL) producing Escherichia coli (E-coli) on urine analysis.

Materials and methods
From 2013-2017, we retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 31 patients who had urinary stone with symptomatic ESBL producing E-coli infection on urine analysis.

Results
The mean age of patients was 67.4 years. Of total patients, 10 (32.3%) patients showed recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI). When we divided to two groups, recurrent UTI group showed significantly higher rate of previous UTI treatment history because of same bacteria (80.0% vs. 14.3%, p<0.01). The success rate of urinary stone was lower in recurrent UTI group, but, not significant. Before and after stone treatment, the durations of Carbapenems and other susceptible antibiotics were longer in non-recurrent group, But also not significant. However, the total duration of antibiotics was significantly longer in non-recurrent group (7.2 days vs. 11.1 days, p=0.017, table 1).

Conclusions
When we consider the treatment in patients with urinary stone accompanying ESBL producing E-coli, more attention is needed if patient had previous UTI history by ESBL producing E-coli. And we could know that the duration of susceptible antibiotics was more important than the type of medications.
