Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. All abstracts must be submitted online by July 10 (Sun), 2022.
  2. Abstracts and Video must be written in clear English and presented in English.
  3. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation, it means we have no record of your submission.
    If you want to be sure that you made a submission, check the e-mail address that you used to make your submission.
  4. Presenting authors must register for the meeting through the website.

Please make sure to submit any abstracts according to the instructions written above.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Type Oral / Video (English only)
Topics Choose one topic from the suggested 13 abstract submission topics.
Title The title should clearly define the topic which indicates the nature of the investigation with no abbreviations.
Authors List the primary author’s full name, followed by the other authors’ names.
Presenting Author In all printed publications, the presenting author will be denoted with an asterisk (*).
Affiliations

Affiliation should be structured as follows: Department, Institution, Country

** When submitting the name of the affiliation, please submit it as following.
ex) Department of Urology, University College of Medicine, Republic of Korea

Body of Abstract The abstract should be informative and detailed with four separated paragraphs:
Introductio, Methods, Result and Conclusions. However, the case should be written in two parts: introduction and case.

Please attach figure and table in the format of gif and jpg.

  • The file should be labeled in the following format: “name of presenter fig1” or “table 1” (ex. JohnSmith fig1.gif)
  • The attached "figure" and “table” will be in 5cm x 4cm if printed.
Keywords Authors must select up to 3 keywords that best describe the subject of the abstract.
Video When submitting a video, file name must be the same as the abstract file name. The video can’t be longer than 5minutes.

Presentation Types

  • Authors have the option of choosing the presentation types (Oral / Video / E-Poster) according to their attendance type (Off-line / On-line).
  • Accepted oral & video abstracts will be requested to prepare off-line presentation. Accepted E-Poster abstracts will be requested to upload their e-Poster which will be shown in the virtual meeting website.
Presentation Types
Oral Presentation (Off-line)
Presentation Preparation Presentation required. Presentation time will be scheduled after reviewing the submitted abstracts. Allocated presentation time is 5 min. (3 min presentation + 2 min discussion per each)
Language:
  • Presentation: English or Korean (Using the two languages simultaneously is not allowed.)
  • Q&A: Korean (English in unavoidable cases can be accepted)
Presentation Material Download the PPT slides to use and upload the completed file to your My Page.
Awards The best presentations will be rewarded with prize money.
Video Presentation (Off-line)
Presentation Preparation Off-line Presentation required. Presentation time will be scheduled after reviewing the submitted abstracts.
Allocated presentation time is 7 min. (5 min presentation + 2 min discussion per each)
Language:
  • Presentation: English or Korean (Using the two languages simultaneously is not allowed.)
  • Q&A: Korean (English in unavoidable cases can be accepted)
Presentation Material PPT & Video file
(1) PPT: Download the PPT template to use and upload the completed file to your My Page.
(2) Video:
  • Length: The videos may not exceed 5 minutes in total length.
  • Quality: The video file with poor sound and picture will be excluded for consideration.
  • Accepted File Types: Authors should submit videos as AVI, MOV, MP4 format.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to reviewing procedures.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to a presenting author by August 1 (Mon), 2022

Withdrawal of Abstracts

If you want to withdraw an abstract, please notify the secretariat (urology@urology.or.kr) in writing as soon as possible.
